Nineone Software Inc. was founded in 2020 by Joshua Russell in Vancouver, BC Canada. Joshua is a software developer specialized in iOS development.
Hi! My name is Josh. I founded Nineone Software Inc. when I began contracting work for enterprise companies within the lower mainland (Vancouver). I have been focused mainly on iOS development for the past seven years now and don’t see myself moving away from this field anytime soon.
The goal with this blog is primarily to document and share any knowledge that I uncover while attempting to bring any of our software development projects to market. This knowledge will mostly fall under software development but if anything else within a related field catches my attention I might write about it here as well.
I am a big believer in the power of learning online. My career as a software developer began entirely online while I was in business school. I’d read countless articles and look at various code bases trying to teach myself Objective-C while putting together my first iOS apps.
My hope with this site is that I can give back some of what I have picked up over the years when it comes to software development as well as document any of my explorations into new technologies – and the struggles, failures and successes that comes along with that exploration.
